{instead} ensemble

{instead} ensemble – коллектив из Санкт-Петербурга, работающий в различных направлениях современной музыки. Был основан в 2016 году.

Ансамбль организован в формате вариантности исполнительского состава в зависимости от идеи конкретного проекта. Три основные линии, развиваемые {instead} ensemble: поиск и исполнение новой музыки; исполнение композиций преимущественно второй половины XX века (историческая линия); практика коллективной импровизации.

{instead} ensemble — a collective from St. Petersburg, working in various areas of modern music. It was founded in 2016.

The ensemble is organized in the format of variation of the performers, depending on the idea of a particular project. The three main lines, developed {instead} ensemble: the search and execution of new music; the performance of compositions mainly in the second half of the 20th century (historical line); practice of collective improvisation.
